3.42.14
saṃprāptakālam ājñāya cakāra ca tataḥ svaram
sadṛśaṃ rāghavasyaiva hā sīte lakṣmaṇeti ca
Knowing that the fitting moment had come, he then uttered a cry just like Rāghava's: 'Ah Sītā! Ah Lakṣmaṇa!'
Words: saṃprāptakālam — that the time had come; ājñāya — having realized; cakāra ca — and made; tataḥ svaram — then a cry, voice; sadṛśaṃ — similar, like; rāghavasyaiva — to Rāghava's very; hā sīte — 'Ah Sītā!'; lakṣmaṇeti ca — and 'Lakṣmaṇa!'
